The Company has a leading position in the Greek market due to its long presence and commitment to quality and innovation.
Its main activity is the representation of foreign companies in Greece, supplying retailers like super markets, hyper stores and specialty stores.
Our knowledge and experience on the market of electronics, consumer goods and textiles enabled us to develop another part of our business, the private label products. Since 2000 Proton SA takes charge of the production, import and export of private label products ensuring quality, respecting international safety standards and addressing the consumer’s needs.
Proton SA has achieved nationwide distribution through a wide network of sales reps & wholesalers.
The company sources its products in Europe, Asia and USA, always taking into consideration consumer needs and the environmental impact.

Eleftherios Katsaounis starts the company E.Katsaounis in Pallados Street, Athens.

1983
The second generation joins the business and the company is renamed Katsaounis & Sons. Entry to the market of Electronics.

The company is renamed Proton S.A and enters the Apparel market.

Creation of new 2.000m2 Headquarter offices in Aghios Dimitrios on Vouliagmenis Avenue.
